Request deletion while signed out or use the immediate protected flow in Settings after signing in.
Owner-published account-deletion process effective August 26, 2026. Qualified-counsel approval is not claimed.
Verify account ownership
Enter the email used for SASHA. For privacy, the response is the same whether or not an account exists. If an account matches, the protected review link expires after one hour and opening it alone never confirms deletion.
What happens next
Email confirmation creates a verified request; it never deletes an account merely because a link was opened. Signed-in deletion requires recent authentication. The protected deletion worker revokes active access, removes or de-identifies the profile and personalization, removes private files where no exception applies, excludes the account from model use, and records a tombstone so repeat access is denied. A request is not marked complete until each required database category and downstream processor treatment has recorded evidence.
Limited records that may remain
The current production schedule permits minimized privacy-request audit evidence, security or abuse evidence, and financial or fulfillment records for no more than 2,555 days, and redacted learning audit evidence for no more than 365 days. Those records must use the required pseudonymized, security-minimum, financial-minimum, or anonymized treatment. A documented legal hold or mandatory recordkeeping rule may alter a period only when the applicable basis and exception are recorded.
Timing and help
Processing starts after protected confirmation and retries safely when a provider is temporarily unavailable. SASHA does not promise one invented universal deadline; it must meet the deadline that applies to the verified request and cannot report completion before deletion evidence is complete.
